sky diving while on your Cancun holiday. As there is
no actual skydiving in Cancun, we will arrange transportation
for you from your hotel in Cancun to participate in
this program in Playa del Carmen. Skydive Playa del
Carmen has been operating for more than 20 years. During
that time, advances in equipment and training have made
it safer and easier for more people to enjoy the world's
most exciting sport.
The parachutes used at Skydive Playa del Carmen are
ram-air canopies and are rectangular in shape. They
actually glide through the air like an airplane wing,
allowing even the novice jumper to make a soft, stand-up
landing. But don't think you'll be flying alone. The
staff at Skydive Playa del Carmen are fully trained
and licensed by the United States Parachute Association
(USPA). Each of your jumpmasters has years of experience
and is dedicated not only to training but also to skydiving
demonstration and competition. The staff at Skydive
Playa del Carmen holds a National Championship Recognition.
They'll train you for the jump and then accompany you
on a flight over Playa del Carmen.
Tandem Jumps
This
is one of the most popular skydiving programs. This
jump includes a 45 second freefall, and an 8 minute
canopy ride while you're actually attached to your jumpmaster.
This is a unique way to experience your first skydive.
TRAINING: For
a Tandem jump is only about 20 minutes.
JUMPING: While
attached to your jumpmaster, you will exit the plane
from 10,000 feet.
After a 45 second freefall, you and your instructor
will be suspended in a dual harness below an oversized
ram-air canopy.
While under canopy, the instructor will assist you
in guiding the canopy to a soft, on-target landing.
To Remember your first jump and
to show your friends, we can provide video and still
photography from training to freefall to landing.
Solo Jumps for
Professional Sky Divers.
The
Company unfortunately do not rent or hire out parachuting
equipment. This doesn't mean however that if you wish
to skydive solo, that you are unable to do so.
You must however bring your own equipment, and a certificate
to show that you are still current.
Please contact us directly, should you require more
information.
Transport from Cancun to Playa del Carmen is not included
in the Price, but can easily be arranged for you, especially
if you require transporting in a group.
2 Persons Maximum per Jump
Sky Diving is run Daily between 09:00hrs & 16:00hrs.
Tandem Jump:
$229.00 USD includes taxes
Solo Jump:
$35.00 USD includes taxes
You will have the choice
of either VIDEO or PHOTOS but not both and this costs
$130.00 USD per person.
The reason being, is that the camera is on the helmet
of the jumpmaster and he switches it on before leaving
the aircraft so cannot change it.
