Getting
to Cancun from UK & Ireland
There are several direct flights between UK & Cancun
every week, operated by Airtours, Thompsons, First Choice,
My Travel & Thomas Cook. Certain flights will start
for example in Ireland from Dublin, head to Manchester,
then London Gatwick before departing for Cancun. Newcastle
seems to be the cheapest departure point from the UK
to Cancun.
Depending on time of year and availability, will depend
on the price of the flights. They can at certain times
of the year be bought for around £250.00 each
way over 7 days, but prices will depend on how long
you wish to stay.
There are also several other non direct flights although
these tend to be more expensive, operated by Continental,
British Airways, American Airlines, Delta, Mexicana
& Aeromexico. These all make at least 1 stop in
the USA to change plane before you arrive in Cancun.
The downside to this, is that you have to clear US Customs
& Immigration, and this can sometimes take hours.
There is a service operated by Livingstone Air Charters
from Rome & Milan to Cancun, which have good connections
with the UK by Easyjet. Monday from Milan & Tuesday
